General Dermatology

A Comprehensive Approach to Skin Health

At Studio Aimi, the dermatological consultation represents a key moment of specialist evaluation, aimed at the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of conditions affecting the skin, skin appendages and visible mucous membranes. Each consultation is based on a thorough clinical assessment, supported by advanced diagnostic tools and a careful evaluation of the individual characteristics of the skin.

The skin is a complex organ with barrier, immunological and metabolic functions, constantly influenced by genetic, environmental and systemic factors. For this reason, dermatological evaluation requires a comprehensive assessment of the patient, allowing skin manifestations to be correctly interpreted and the most appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic pathway to be defined.

The dermatological activity of the Studio includes the management of numerous skin conditions, including acne, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, skin infections, skin spots and pigmentation disorders, as well as the examination and monitoring of moles and skin lesions for preventive purposes.

When clinically indicated, the consultation may be complemented by non-invasive diagnostic technologies, allowing for a more detailed evaluation and accurate documentation of skin conditions. Technologies used include FotoFinder Vexia, for digital dermoscopy and long-term monitoring of pigmented lesions; Observ, for the in-depth analysis of skin characteristics and dyschromia; and the Wood’s lamp, used in the evaluation of certain pigmentary alterations and superficial infections.

This integrated approach allows for an accurate dermatological diagnosis and the development of a personalised treatment plan, which may include topical or systemic therapies, targeted dermocosmetic recommendations, in-office dermatological treatments and follow-up programmes over time.

The aim is to intervene in a targeted way, prevent the progression of skin diseases and preserve the physiological balance of the skin over time.
