IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments for pigmentation and vascular concerns
Skin renewal and refinement

The Lumecca® IPL dermatological laser is a precise and selective device, ideal for treating pigmented lesions, dyschromia, and superficial capillaries, while preserving the surrounding tissue. Thanks to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, high-intensity light is selectively absorbed by melanin or superficial blood vessels, promoting the progressive fragmentation of pigment and photocoagulation of capillaries, resulting in improved skin tone uniformity and radiance.
At Studio Aimi, the treatment is always performed following a thorough dermatological assessment, taking into account the patient’s skin phototype, medical history, and lesion characteristics, and when necessary supported by videodermatoscopic evaluation. The goal is to achieve a visible and controlled improvement, with the utmost attention to skin safety.
Recovery times are generally short and may vary depending on the depth of treatment and the area treated.

The Lumecca® IPL system emits intense pulsed light that is selectively absorbed by melanin or superficial capillaries, inducing pigment fragmentation and photocoagulation of blood vessels, without damaging the surrounding tissues.
It is indicated for sun spots (solar lentigines), superficial hyperpigmentations, facial capillaries, and localized redness, progressively improving skin uniformity and radiance.
Discomfort is generally minimal, perceived as small pinprick sensations on the skin. The treatment is safe for most phototypes.
It is normal to notice mild skin redness or a temporary darkening of the spot, signs of a correct skin response. The skin appearance quickly returns to normal.
On average, 1–3 sessions are sufficient, depending on the type and depth of the lesion and the individual skin response.
