Chemical Peels
Progressive and Controlled Skin Renewal

Chemical peels promote gradual and controlled skin renewal, improving skin radiance, texture, and superficial imperfections through the application of selected exfoliating agents that stimulate cellular turnover and the natural processes of epidermal regeneration. This process helps improve overall skin quality and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, leaving the complexion progressively more even, firm, and radiant.
At Studio Aimi, professional chemical peels are used, including AlumierMD peels, selected according to the patient’s skin characteristics and therapeutic goals. Among the most commonly used substances are glycolic, salicylic, mandelic, pyruvic, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA), carefully selected and calibrated by the physician based on the clinical condition of the skin and the patient’s phototype.
The treatment is always defined after a thorough dermatological evaluation, supported by Observ 520X technology, which makes it possible to highlight dyschromia, enlarged pores, and skin alterations that are not always visible to the naked eye. This approach allows the protocol to be personalised and the evolution of the skin to be monitored objectively over time.
Different protocols may be indicated for skin ageing, melasma, dyschromia, post-inflammatory pigmentation, active acne, or acne scarring, as well as for skin with seborrhoea or irregular texture. They can also be useful in the treatment of post-acne scars and may also be included in combined aesthetic treatments, together with dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, or regenerative technologies, in order to enhance and maintain results.
Chemical peels can be performed alone or combined with treatments such as microneedling with SkinPen Precision or Morpheus8 Burst, to further improve skin texture, radiance, and firmness. The approach is always progressive and personalised: the treatment is quick and safe, and recovery time varies depending on the depth of the peel and the therapeutic strategy adopted.

Chemical peels are treatments that promote skin renewal through the use of exfoliating acids selected according to individual skin needs.
They are ideal for superficial pigmentation, mild acne, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, and loss of radiance.
A mild sensation of warmth or tingling may be felt during the treatment. This is normal and temporary and usually fades quickly.
Depending on the depth of the treatment, redness or mild peeling may occur. These are normal signs of the skin renewal process.
Generally, 3–6 sessions are recommended, depending on the skin’s response and the treatment goals defined with the physician.
Yes. When performed in a medical setting and using products selected according to the patient’s skin type, chemical peels minimise risks and side effects.
