Tattoo Removal

Picofy by InMode® is a picosecond laser technology used in dermatology for the progressive removal of tattoos and, when clinically indicated, for the treatment of selected skin concerns.

Thanks to the emission of ultra-short laser pulses, the technology acts selectively on target pigments through a predominantly photoacoustic mechanism, breaking them down into smaller particles that are progressively eliminated through the body's natural processes.

At Studio Aimi, every treatment plan is personalised following a specialist dermatological consultation. During the assessment, the type of tattoo, pigment colours, depth of ink, anatomical location, and individual skin characteristics are carefully evaluated in order to define the most appropriate treatment approach for each patient.

In addition to tattoo removal, the technology may be used, when clinically indicated, for the treatment of certain pigmentary concerns, post-acne scarring, and superficial skin irregularities, contributing to improvements in skin texture and skin tone uniformity.

The number of sessions required varies according to the characteristics of the tattoo, the quantity and depth of the pigment, and the individual response to treatment. Sessions are scheduled in accordance with the physiological time required for skin recovery and the gradual elimination of pigment particles.

Laser energy is delivered in a targeted manner to selectively treat the affected areas through protocols specifically tailored to the patient's skin characteristics.
